I went to the old style M-16 stock and used this buffer kit three days after delivery. One must be liberal with gun grease on the spring for long life "before" using.
No issues and my rifle functioned as designed.
MAS Defense was 40% less than anywhere else concerning this part. Semper Fi

The buffer tube was not properly milled internally, and wouldn't allow my bolt to cycle. Definitely NOT to spec.

MAS Defense Reply: Brandon, I apologize for the issue. We have a very good quality control process where 2 employees review every part before it leaves our facility. We have not had any issues with the ID on these tubes in the past and did not confirm it before we sent this one to you. We have batch tested the remaining tubes and did not find any other ones that were out of spec. The one you received appears to be a fluke. I apologize again for the issue. We sent you a RMA to get it back for inspection.
