This is a great .450/.458 upper. It is perfect spec and the MAS Defense XL stamp was a very nice touch. I look forward to completing this build with a 10.5" .458 Socom barrel.

Fits in a aero lower with out too much movement. I’m not currently using it in a built at the moment so I just dry fitted all component except for a desk cover.
The Faxon barrel i have laying around slides in easily with some movement. The same barrel had a more tight fit with the other upper I bought.

I bought two ar15 uppers, this one with the extra milling clearance in the dust cover area so 450 & .458 cal cases can more efficiently eject & also has a forward assist, and a slick side.  I noticed that both receivers came from different forging houses and also have different ano finish textures. Which I find surprising if Mas is doing there own machining and sending them to the same ano place. This upper has a more similar finish to the aero precision finish. The slick side upper has a more doll & chalky finish. I like the price and feel there are of good value.
