I have tried many of the AR pistol buffer tube covers and find the Thordsen/MFT to be the best for me. I have three pistol builds and the Thordsen is on all of them. The other systems on the market give me little stabilization and really only help if you improperly use them by shouldering, which is not an option. Thordsen gives you a great cheek weld for a firm point of stabilization. Adding a two point sling and pressing forward on the sling where the sling puts pressure where it wraps around your shoulder gives you another strong point of contact. So now you have the sling, the cheek weld, your trigger hand on the pistol grip and your support hand on the front handguard all working together to give you rock solid control of you AR Pistol. Try it, I think you'll agree.
