2 bipods in one |

Though I bought the 8" - 12" version, the angled locking feature of the legs effectively turns it into the equivalent of about a 5" - 8" bipod, if needed. So really, you are getting a 5" - 12" bipod, or think of it as two in one, which is a great design feature. Add to this the duel picatinny/sling lug mounting capability and it has application across a broad range of platforms.
No "cons" to mention. But just understand, all that well built functionality means it's quite heavy, making it better suited to the bench rather than the bush. That is by design. Also, the considerable movement available in all three axes means it is quite squirmy when attempting to manipulate the legs. Again, by design. Not a knock, but just be aware of the quirks, and if they are not a problem, then it is a lot of bipod for the money.
