MAS DEFENSE 7.25" NERO M-LOK FREE FLOAT - (FDE) FLAT DARK EARTH
Carbine Length

Proudly Made in USA. The monolithic top rail of the handguard sits directly against the upper receiver rail. M-LOK attachment points are located at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions. The slim 1.25" inner diameter will require a slim muzzle device. This includes our "Slim" Flash can if applicable.

Weight comes in at 5.8oz for the rail itself. The rail, steel barrel nut and attaching screws brings the weight to 9.2oz. The barrel nut will accept a 1 3/16" or (30mm) wrench or crow foot.

Installation should be complete by a gunsmith. The barrel nut must be torqued to a minimum of 38 FOOT LBS. The (2) handguard screws should be torqued evenly to 40 INCH LBS with blue removeable loctite applied.

I gave it a four star because it was stated in one of the reviews to match the same color as magpul’s FDE which was not the case. I have both the aero upper and lower which are stated to be the same as magpul’s FDE as well as a radian raptor charging handle and that also matches the rest of the build. Not a big dealbreaker for me but just something to take into consideration for future builds

Looks nice, fits nice. Doesn't have anti rotation tabs and the top pic rail doesn't line up with any upper that I have. It is just a little low. But other wise works well for a pistol build.

Wilson, In the AR-15 world parts should line up but sometimes don't. Our receivers are Mil-Spec line up to our upper receivers perfectly. We also use them on builds include Aero, YHM, Spikes and Seekins receivers where they also line up. Thank You for your business and your feedback! MAS Defense
