The options listed below come standard with this barreled upper. The drop down options listed above allow you to customize your build. You can leave them as is, change one option or change them all! We let you build your upper the way you want it built!

1. Upper Receiver - 7075 T6 Aluminum A4. Precision Machined to Mil-Spec Tolerances. Black Hardcoat Anodized Mil-Std-171 Type III. M4 Ramps, Forward Assist, Ejection Door.

2. Barrel - 18" .223 Wylde 1X8 HBAR Chrome Moly Hardened Barrel

3. Handguard - Omega 12.5" Free Float - White T Marks on all four rails

4. Gas Block - .750 Low Profile Steel Melonite Nitride Treated Gas Block

5. Gas Tube - Mid-Length Stainless Steel Gas Tube

6. Muzzle Device - A2 Half Cage

Bolt Carrier Groups and Charging Handles are sold separately. All barreled uppers are head spaced and test fired to ensure function.

The quality of this upper is fantastic and truly speaks to the reputation of Mas. I’ve already taken this barrel out to 400 yards and it has preformed well above my expectations. Shipping was also very quick, I bought two uppers on the same day and Mas beat CBC by by 9 days.

At this time five stars for shipping, real quick. Havent received my lower yet from FFL. So havent put together yet. But so far upper receiver and barrel look great.

I am in love with my purchase! Everything was super easy to figure out, and Customer Service was able to answer all of my questions. A friend of mine, who has seen my finished AR has caught builder's fever too, and I will make sure that he goes through MAS Defense. Five Stars!

Great build quality! Fits nicely on my lower receiver. After putting about 200 rounds through this upper my only complaint is that the threads didn't get any thread locker. If you don't takethe time to go through and put some on, the floating cage will come loose, and the side mounts will fall off (hopefully not while it's mounted on the quad like mine Oops). Don't let that stop you from buying this well made and affordable receiver though. Just remember to grab some thread sealer before you hit the range! I would buy this product again if I ever need a new one.
