MAS DEFENSE MW8 OCTAGON AND SQUADRON BARREL NUT

This barrel nut will only fit our MW8 Octagon and Squadron handguards. (8) screws (1/4" long, 8/32 TPI, cone style) are included.

Installation should be complete by a gunsmith. The barrel nut accepts a standard AR-15 armorers wrench and must be torqued to a minimum of 38 FOOT LBS. The (8) handguard screws should be torqued evenly to 35 INCH LBS with blue removable loctite applied.

3 of 5 Decent nut. Needed different wrench to get it on. January 19, 2024

Wheeler's Professional Armorer's Wrench didn't fit on this, so make sure you're wrench has only three pins on it to get it to properly interface. Finish isn't the best, but it locks down great and for the price that is all that matters.

NOTE: If you are buying this because you aren't sure if the MAS defense handguard comes with the nut, IT DOES! Don't but an extra.
