I love holosun red dots.  I actually think they are better than the RMR or any other competitors pistol red dots.  MAS has the best price on this single dot model and got it to me fast.  I put it on my .22lr ruger mk IV. I wanted to shoot it suppressed at night with NVGs and the pistol red dot is perfect for that application. You could spend 100 bucks more and get the same dot with the fancy reticle but for my .22lr application,  i didn't need that and saved some money.  Great value.

The Holosun HS407C-X2 is a fantastic optic.  The only other sight I would put above this is the Trijicon RMR, but for what this costs, you are getting so much.  There is no parallax in this optic and with a solar panel included, your battery life will probably out last your weapon.  This is the choice optic for most of the shooters I know and it is very durable.  You can't go wrong with Holosun.  You just can't.
