After swapping for my QD brake, I proceeded to practically light the barrel on fire. I'm talking enough round count that when I was done, I was worried that I was going to melt stuff in my truck, or cook off rounds if it shifted into boxes of ammo. The kind of heat that you just know that any more will light your barrel up like a glow stick.
It kept running. Like a champ. No failures. Subs and supers. Hot as hell itself. And there was enough gas and brass fragments by the time I was done that cleaning my lower was like dumping out a lower thrown into Iraqi sand. But with my DLC bolt in it, this upper wasn't grinding. It was filthy, and should have felt like the bolt was covered in sandpaper, but even as my selector started sticking the upper kept going without even the slightest hint that anything had changed.
So yeah, I'm sold on Mas. When the non-cheese grater guard is in stock I'm buying it. And I'll probably be picking up more uppers as I need em.
