Get what you pay for April 6, 2022 : ROBERT PENDRICK from Prescott Valley, AZ United States   Decided to try one of these low cost barrels was shipped in some kind of plastic netting like fishnet!  Was inside a box NOT   well protected NO barrel thread protector had several scratches/ marks I could not buff out and inside was extremly dirty! Always clean a barrel as soon as you receive it! After many patches/scrubbing still not much shine on inside of barrel! I am going back to ballistic advantage/ AeroPrecision barrels! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MAS Defense Reply: Bob, the barrel was shipped in standard barrel netting.  This is used to protect the exterior of the barrel. It is then wrapped in bubble wrap, then paper and taped closed to ensure the threads and extension are protected. The barrel was then placed inside a box heavy duty corrugated box. Ballistic Advantage ships their barrels to us the same exact way minus the barrel netting. I apologize that the barrel you received was a little dirty. We inspect all barrels before they ship and may run a clean snake through them but I can honestly tell you we do not take the time to run cleaning patches through every barrel before they ship.
