While expensive, it is highly functional and handsome piece of kit. If I had to find a weakness, it would be that while the Gearhead Works spec says it fits 1,17"-1.20 buffer tube diameter, so many of the current pistol buffer tubes commonly available are 1.24" 1.25". This aspect could be better thought out by the manufacturer.
