Bolt carrier March 19, 2022 : Michael Gross from Downingtown, PA United States   The bolt carrier seems great so far. My only disappointment here was that it is not a auto compatible bolt. The lower part of the bolt is not the same length as the upper section rear of the bolt. Although it won't effect the performance for me I don't think it was fully shown as a "neutered" bolt carrier group. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MAS Defense Reply: Michael, you purchased Product Code: MAS00103110 which is an AR15 BCG. The pictures shows the side profile which is the "Semi" profile.  The "Auto" or M16 BCG, Product Code: MAS00103210 has the same length on the bottom that it does on the top. The extended length on the bottom us used to trip the auto sear to make it fully automatic. The M16 BCG us legal to own. You would need a specialized permit and NFA Tax Stamp to own the auto sear.
