The options listed below come standard with this barreled upper. The drop down options listed above allow you to customize your build. You can leave them as is, change one option or change them all! We let you build your upper the way you want it built!

1. Upper Receiver - 7075 T6 Aluminum A4. Precision Machined to Mil-Spec Tolerances. Black Hardcoat Anodized Mil-Std-171 Type III. M4 Ramps, Forward Assist, Ejection Door.

2. Barrel - 18" .223 Wylde 1x7 GOVT 4150 CrMoV Melonite Nitride Premium Barrel

3. Handguard - Omega 15" Free Float - White T Marks on all four rails.

4. Gas Block - .750 Low Profile Steel Melonite Nitride Treated Gas Block

5. Gas Tube - Rifle Length Stainless Steel Gas Tube

6. Muzzle Device - A2 Half Cage

Bolt Carrier Groups and Charging Handles are sold separately. All barreled uppers are head spaced and test fired to ensure function.

If it was not for the Labor Day on Monday I would have received my upper in 3 business days. I ordered on Thursday around 12:45am and I was able to pick it up on Wednesday from the post office because USPS could not deliver to my residence without a signature on Tuesday. Really happy with the quality of the 18" .223 Wylde barrel, I found one tiny scratch on the 15" handguard so if that was the blemish then I will be ordering more on sale blemished items. Zero issues with ordering from MAS Defense. I will be ordering again.

I've gone over this thing multiple times and I have yet to find a blemish. After adding a nickel boron BCG and a standard charging handle this completed my first build. The indoor range I was at only went to 50 yards but after an uneventful sight-in of a 1-6x28 scope on 4x I was getting 3 round groups at 50 yards you could cover with a quarter. This using lord knows where it came from ammo. I could not be more pleased with this upper if it served me breakfast in bed.

This review does not allow enough for me to write my complete experience. Problems with USPS shipping- No fault of this company. MAS Defense - (Zach) did everything he could possibly do to help me deal with USPS. As for my order - a barreled upper -  I have about 35 years experience with firearms, retired law enforcement, retired armorer, instructor...etc... I own and know weapons... The service, the parts , the assembly and quality are at MAS Defense. My thoughts after inspection of my new upper- This is a Badass upper and I will be ordering from this company again. If you have any doubts about ordering from MAS Defense, just do it.  I am impressed and completely happy with my order. Thank You, Jeff Huber
